This week, Family Service was honored to participate in a conference hosted by the National Alliance to End Homelessness. Also in attendance were our partners from Bucks County Opportunity Council (BCOC) and Bucks County Department of Housing & Community Development. During their time there, our CEO Julie Dees and BCOC CEO & Executive Director Erin Lukoss also met with Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick, where they further discussed possible solutions to ending homelessness. Family Service is honored to have received a $7,500 Capital Improvement Grant from Foundations Community Partnership, which will go towards the installation of motion sensor light switches throughout our headquarters in Langhorne, Pa. This is one of many green initiatives that our agency is taking, in order to enhance our support of the environment. #fcpstrong #thankyou Foundations Community Partnership

Yesterday, we celebrated the remarkable career of Marlene Piasecki (a.k.a. the Queen of Family Service), as she prepares for her very well-deserved retirement from our agency after a tremendously successful 23 years! During her time here, Marlene served in several capacities including Grants Administrator, Director of Development, COO and Interim CEO. We are grateful for everything that she has done to advance our agency and we wish her the very best in the next chapter of her journey!
