Many SaaS companies start with just one payment processor to handle transactions. However, businesses often find that more than one processor is needed as they grow. Here's why leveraging multiple payment processors is crucial for your SaaS business: 🔹 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗱𝘀 Customers are more likely to complete a purchase if they can use their preferred payment method, which different processors support. Working with multiple processors allows you to accept a wider range of payment options, increasing your revenue. 🔹 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 Card networks are more likely to authorize transactions when the payment processor has a legal entity in the same location. While some processors establish legal entities in multiple locations, most companies still need multiple processors to ensure all payments are processed locally. 🔹 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 Some payment processors only support payments from select countries or regions. You can use multiple processors to reach customers in more locations, expanding your market reach. 🔹 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 Network failures happen. When one processor experiences downtime, having multiple processors allows you to reroute transactions to another fully operational processor, ensuring continuous service. 💡 At FastSpring, we support multiple payment processors specializing in global transactions. We accept many payment methods, including PayPal, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, AliPay, Pix, and more (with new methods constantly added!). This ensures you can meet your customers' needs and maximize your revenue potential.

Wondering how to build and manage a list of affiliates to recruit effectively? Let’s dive into Adam Riemer’s strategic approach that leverages data and technology. 1️⃣ 𝗨𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗣𝗣𝗖 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗘𝗢 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 Start by analyzing your PPC and SEO data. If your site is already ranking at the top, look at the rankings just below you. This is a goldmine for identifying potential affiliates, especially publishers who could benefit from your high conversion rates. 2️⃣ 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘇𝗲 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 When identifying potential affiliates, focus on publishers with high conversion rates. This data helps create a forecast of potential earnings. For instance, by partnering with us, a publisher can earn significantly more than their current CPM ads. 3️⃣ 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲 Use the forecast data to make a strong case for why potential affiliates should include your client in their content. Highlight the additional income they could generate monthly by partnering with you. 4️⃣ 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗥𝗠𝘀 To manage this process efficiently, utilize CRM tools. CRMs help you keep track of your outreach, communication, and relationship status with each potential affiliate. This ensures a structured and organized approach to recruitment.

Does the idea of a sudden SaaS switch make you uneasy? You’re risking customer backlash and operational chaos by following a one-size-fits-all approach. When Stardock began planning their SaaS transition, Brad Sams encountered a lot of industry advice, including the common suggestion to “go cold turkey” and launch 4everything as SaaS all at once. However, Brad’s experience taught him the value of discerning which advice is right for your unique situation. “The best way I can describe my job is trying to decide what advice is bad advice,” Brad shared. “And I would say that was bad advice.” Instead of following the one-size-fits-all approach, Brad and his team adopted a small-to-big rollout plan, which proved highly effective for Stardock. This method allowed them to gradually test, learn, and adapt their strategies, ensuring a smoother transition. Brad recommends that software companies considering a switch to SaaS should evaluate their needs and circumstances rather than simply following industry trends. “Every company is unique in what their clientele will expect and/or tolerate,” he explains. This personalized approach acknowledges that no two companies are the same, and each has distinct experiences and customer expectations. Key takeaways from Stardock’s transition include: 🔹𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆: Not all industry advice applies to your specific situation. Use discernment to determine what’s best for your company. 🔹𝗔𝗱𝗼𝗽𝘁 𝗮 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘂𝘁: A small-to-big approach allows for testing and adjustments, reducing risk and improving outcomes. 🔹𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀: Tailor your transition plan to meet your clientele's unique needs and expectations.
