Chris Baker from Feeding Missouri and Ashley McCarty from Missouri Farmers Care will join Derek Polka from Feeding America in a panel discussion at the annual American Commodity Distribution Association(ACDA) Conference in St. Louis, MO. They will share success stories and innovative ways to connect emergency feeding organizations and local growers, producers, and farmers to better serve neighbors facing food insecurity. 🌱🚜🍎🚛

State Farm Donates $60,000 to help Missouri food banks fight hunger! 🧡 🧡 🧡 Yesterday was Good Neighbor Day and representatives from State Farm gathered at The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri to officially announce a donation of $60,000 to Feeding Missouri to help their six regional food banks fight hunger. Each food bank -- Harvesters - The Community Food Network , Ozarks Food Harvest, St. Louis Area Foodbank, Second Harvest Community Food Bank, SEMO Food Bank, and The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri -- will each receive $10,000 to help purchase food for neighbors facing difficult times. Partnerships like these are paramount and make it possible for food banks to be there for families facing uncertain times. We are so thankful that State Farm is using “Good Neighbor Day” to play a role in strengthening communities across the state.
