With a projected opening date on the horizon, The Hawkins is set to revitalize the area with new retail opportunities and modern amenities.

Capital City Real Estate, LLC bought the 1.5-acre property from EarthLink in 2019 for $15.2 million. The Washington, D.C.-based developer is partnering with Atlantic Residential, FIDES Development, and Mitsui Fudosan America, the U.S. subsidiary of Japan's largest real estate company, on the project.

This week, FIDES officially celebrated the topping off of The Hawkins, a mixed-use multifamily development located in Chamblee. We're thrilled with the progress as we move closer to bringing this exceptional property to life. Our team at FIDES along with partner Atlas Real Estate Partners and New South Construction has been hard at work, which has brought us one step closer to delivering exceptional living spaces to our growing community. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to work diligently towards delivering quality spaces for modern living.

FIDES is driven by a calling to improve the communities in which we work. We include in this the creation of landmarks that will last generations and act as a forum for positive change for these communities. We are honored to be working alongside the City of Brookhaven to develop its very first City Hall, anchoring the future City Centre mixed-use development. It will be one of less than a handful of City Halls in the Southeast to be directly served by heavy rail transportation, making it truly accessible to all, and once completed will become a testament to the young city’s emphasis on defining a legacy of quality growth. 

Last week, FIDES sponsored a Fundraiser benefiting the Shepherd Center of Atlanta, raising support and awareness for their vital work in rehabilitation and patient care.
