🎉 Congratulations to National Filipino American Lawyers Association (NFALA) Member Philip Nulud, Shareholder at Buchalter, who was recently installed as the 2024 California Bench-Bar Coalition Co-Chair. Established in 1993, the Bench-Bar Coalition (BBC), composed of judges and leaders of local and statewide bar associations and legal services organizations, is designed to enhance communication, perform legislative outreach, and coordinate the activities of the judicial community with the state. This online toolkit contains information that will assist BBC members in preparing for outreach activities. Phil chairs the BBC with Hon. Audra Ibarra of the Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara, the first Filipino Judge in Santa Clara.

Leadership Academy Fellows will: • Develop and leverage foundational leadership skills • Understand career development strategies applicable for various practice environments, such as law firms, in-house, government, non-profit • Prepare early career attorneys with relationship building resources, as well as professional and personal development opportunities • Embody the essence of servant leadership and the Bayanihan spirit Enrollment in the program is limited to twelve (12) participants, with a strong preference given to candidates with between 0-5 years of experience. She was a founding member of the National Filipino American Law Student Association and serves as the Northeast Regional Director. Prior to law school, she worked at a nonprofit organization that worked with refugees and helped them to apply for citizenship.
