Yesterday I had the amazing opportunity to attend the Ohio Venture Pipeline event hosted by Smart Money Ventures. Four members of our team embarked on an exciting journey to Cleveland this week, participating in the inaugural Ohio VC Fest '23, hosted by JumpStart Ventures. Over the course of the two-day networking event, we had the privilege to engage with venture capital firms and angel funds from various parts of Ohio. The event was rich in content, including panel discussions and presentations on topics such as AI, the current SaaS landscape, Fintech, Medtech and much more. The central focus of the event was fostering collaboration, innovation, and growth within Ohio's entrepreneurial ecosystem. Huge thank you to University of Dayton School of Business Administration, L. William Crotty Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership, David Marshall, and Dr. Jay Jenney for the support and guidance thus far! Additionally, we were able to connect with Flyer Angels Alum, Liz Todia and learn all about what she does in the VC space. We appreciate you taking the time, Liz! Ohio VC Fest played a significant first step in establishing Flyer Angels in the VC ecosystem. We are completely committed to doing all we can to enhance and grow Ohio!
