Wednesday August 28th marks a special milestone as our amazing seniors, the Class of 2025, return to the building for their final year at Towne! To kick off this unforgettable journey, we’re throwing a Senioritis Party to celebrate your last "first day" in true senior style. What to Expect: Senioritis Survival Kits: Packed with fun essentials to help you navigate those "senior moments" with a smile. Throwback Tunes: We’re cranking up the classics and hits from your freshman year—let's get nostalgic! Photo Booth Fun: Capture the memories with friends at our senior-themed photo booth—props included! Chill Vibes: Themed snacks, games, and plenty of space to hang out and reminisce about your journey so far. This is the year where you’ll lead, laugh, and leave your mark on Towne. Let’s make this first day back one for the books! We’re so excited to see all the incredible things you’ll accomplish as seniors. Towne Warriors message to remember: You are what you do, not what you'll say you'll do. These student athletes are some of the toughest competitors in the city of Philadelphia. Our Towne is built on a never ending work ethic, determination to succeed, and the ability to follow through on our commitments. Philadelphia, known for its gritty, no-nonsense attitude, is a place where actions speak louder than words. Our teams will be out all fall showing that never ending hustle as they compete for a shot at the post season.

The Block Gives Back The biggest back to school BLOCK party is going down this Saturday. 1000 bags filled with supplies all going out for FREE as long as the child is present. Free food, dunk tank, resource tables, bouncy house fun, face painting, and so much more. Franklin Towne Charter High School is committed to working with the members of Philadelphia Charters for Excellence to advance school choice across the Commonwealth. Many thanks to Amy Hollister, Cassandra St. Vil, and the PCE Board of Directors for working with charter schools to catalyze collective action to ensure all families have equal access to Philadelphia's Public brick and mortar charter schools.

Michael Driscoll and The Block Gives Back are hosting a fantastic event on 8.24.24! Every year The Block Gives Back aims to partner with community leaders, local businesses, and peer organizations to create a resourceful and celebratory back-to-school event. While preparing students with at least 1,000 custom book bags filled with school supplies The Block Gives Back creates a fun-filled day of free activities, resources, and positive reinforcement.

During the month of July we had several students work with our teachers as part of our summer programming. Our staff comprised of Sarah Levins, Kelly Adams, and Jennifer Franks who tailored this program to meet the specific needs of each student, focusing on maintaining critical skills and continuing progress in areas such as academics, social skills, and daily living skills.
