How It Started
Freshworks in 2023, marked an impressive 13 years of innovation and success since its inception in 2011. On June 7, 2017, the original Freshdesk product was launched publicly—we unveiled Freshworks as our new umbrella brand. On September 22, 2021, Freshworks debuted on Nasdaq, the first Indian SaaS company to list on the exchange. Thirteen years of Freshworks
In 2010, our founder CEO had a terrible customer support experience involving his broken TV. This incident sparked the idea to set up a fresh helpdesk company, Freshdesk. Over the last decade, Freshdesk which started with one product serving small businesses, has grown into a multi-product company that is transforming the way the world looks at customer engagement and employee engagement. We’ve grown into a 3000-member strong company, and are valued at over $3.5 billion.
