What a fantastic day it was for Friendly Center’s Summer Tutoring Program! Our students had an amazing time visiting the Orange Home Grown Foundation Education Farm, where they got their hands dirty and their minds buzzing with new knowledge! They explored different vegetables that can grow in their own backyards, discovered how compost and worms help farms thrive, and even tasted some delicious veggies they picked themselves! To top it all off, the kids crafted beautiful clay bowls using flower petals from the farm, making their experience even more special. A huge thank you to the Orange Home Grown Education Farm for your warm welcome and enriching activities.
