👏 Another step towards innovation in cell therapies! BlueRock Therapeutics, received #FDA IND clearance for iPSC-derived #celltherapy candidate OpCT-001 for the treatment of primary photoreceptor diseases. Photoreceptor degeneration leads to irreversible blindness and affects ~ 1 in 2,000 people worldwide, but no viable effective therapies exist. OpCT-001, which was exclusively licensed from FUJIFILM Cellular Dynamics, Inc and Opsis Therapeutics earlier this year, aims to restore vision loss caused by these diseases by replacing degenerated retinal tissue with functional cells.
Congratulations to our partner! BlueRock Therapeutics announced the clearance of its Investigational New Drug (IND) application by the #FDA for OpCT-001, an induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived #celltherapy candidate for the treatment of primary photoreceptor diseases. We are proud to be a part of this collaboration with BlueRock Therapeutics and to have supported the research, development, and execution of OpCT-001 clinical manufacturing. Check out how FUJIFILM Integrated Inkjet Solutions was able to create a tailor-made printing experience for Concord Direct with the ability for future customizations to expand with the client's needs.
Concord Direct turned to Fujifilm Integrated Inkjet Solutions for a custom press that combined a Fujifilm Unigraphica TransJet transport and a FUJIFILM 46kUV Printbar System. “What we were happy to find is that Fujifilm not only had technology and inkjet solutions for us, but they were willing to customize some of the experiences,” said Scott Hirsch, plant manager of Concord Direct. With a wide range of built-to-purpose inkjet printing systems, Fujifilm can provide unique combinations of print width, substrate, color, pretreatment, transport, and curing. This means transport options such as reel-to-reel, reel-to-sheet, and sheet-to-sheet. It means substrate options such as paper, carton, corrugated, and metal. It means widely varying functions such as pretreatment, varnish, print quality inspection, piece tracking, punching, folding, and laser cutting. It means color options like monochrome, CMYK, extended gamut, and security inks. “They were able to build us a custom press that helped us with our efficiencies, our down time, our start-up time, and even the ease of use for the operator,” said digital imaging supervisor Michael Campbell. “It was very easy to use and to understand.” Contact us today to learn more about our solutions. https://lnkd.in/e-67M2nq #innovation #neverstop #custompress #digitalinkjet #print

FUJIFILM North America Corporation’s Electronic Imaging Division and Optical Devices Division VP, Victor Ha chatted with The New Yorker’s Kyle Chayka, to chat about #TikToks favorite camera – the Fujifilm X100. 📸 Photography is for everyone, and we thank the communities that have embraced this camera and made it their own. We’re excited to continue developing the technology and tools to help people document every moment. That’s just one of the ways we’re giving our world more smiles. #WorldPhotographyDay #FujifilmSmiles Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/gkhieBbT
By designing a modernized camera that is simply a camera, with a fixed-length lens that can’t be swapped out, Fujifilm tapped into a desire for a more restricted kind of picture-making. Kyle Chayka writes about TikTok’s favorite camera: the Fujifilm X100. https://lnkd.in/gkhieBbT
