Funding Forward 2025 is coming to Houston, TX from March 31 to April 3, 2025 and we need your help to make it the best convening of grantmakers committed to LGBTQ communities yet! Now through July 15th, you can submit session ideas and help shape the content of Funding Forward. Proposals are your opportunity to suggest a topic, format, and presenters for an engaging session. Learn more about the work happening, the opportunities for funders to get involved, and what success would mean for LGBTQ people and our communities. Join us for a conversation tomorrow with Denise Brown, Gabriel Foster and V Varun Chaudhry on funding transgender artists, held by the Leeway Foundation and co-sponsored by Funders for LGBTQ Issues. In 2005, the Leeway Foundation expanded its grant funding to artists who identified as trans. After almost twenty years, we look back at Leeway’s decisions, strategy, processes, and impact on philanthropy and nonprofits. Denise Brown, Gabriel Foster & V Chaudry will discuss how this work evolved over the years, what is still needed, and what’s next. Reserve your spot here: https://lnkd.in/ejXUnubq
