FutureLaw 2024 has been a treasure trove of insights for legal professionals. Here is a recent article “𝘍𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘩 𝘗𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘍𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘍𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘓𝘢𝘸 2024: 𝘈𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘐𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘓𝘢𝘸𝘺𝘦𝘳𝘴” by Olga V. Mack for Above the Law, with a focus on actionable insights, which clearly suggest that embracing a mindset of innovation is key to partnering effectively with AI in the legal field: https://lnkd.in/eUHwnY4Q It's about more than just technology; it's about creating a culture of continuous improvement and readiness for the future. Valentin Feklistov, CEO of LEGID & FutureLaw Conference, aptly summarized the conference’s ethos: “𝘞𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘧𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘰𝘭𝘴 𝘵𝘰𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘦𝘨𝘢𝘭 𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘱𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘰𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘰𝘸. 𝘖𝘶𝘳 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢 𝘧𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘢 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘢 𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦, 𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘭𝘭.” This vision is a call to action for all legal professionals to contribute to creating a more just and accessible legal system. Alexander Bitskov, COO of LEGID & FutureLaw Conference, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the synergy between human intelligence and AI: “𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘣𝘰 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘈𝘐 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘭𝘦𝘨𝘢𝘭 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘴. 𝘐𝘵’𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦; 𝘪𝘵’𝘴 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘭𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘦𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘺.” Indeed, the intersection of law and technology is where the magic happens. We're not just using AI; we're integrating it into the very fabric of legal practice to enhance our capabilities and serve our clients better. These perspectives underscore the importance of not only staying abreast of technological advancements but also being proactive in shaping the future of the legal profession. Join the conversation and share your thoughts on how we can continue to drive innovation in the legal sector. Late to posting on this, but a couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to support Cognia law with the London event celebrating the launch of their AI Readiness Assessment tool co-developed with Legaltech Hub, following which I flew to Tallinn, Estonia to speak at FutureLaw Conference. Highlights included: 💥Hearing Michael Charles Borrelli speak on AI regulation and ethics, 💥Joining Cognia’s Janet Taylor-Hall, Stephen Albrecht of HSBC and Nadine Morgan of Microsoft on a panel exploring real use case for #GenAI 💥Seeing UNESCO world heritage city Tallinn, a place I’ve wanted to visit for many years 💥Hearing about the digital court system that has fascinated me for years from Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Estonia Villu Kõve 💥Joining Uwais Iqbal and Heikki Ilvessalo on a panel about GenAI, one year later, expertly moderated by Thomas G. Martin 💥Dinner with a phenomenally international group of friends, and catching up with many other friends in both Tallinn and London, as well as making new friends! - Malin Männikkö, Alex Hamilton, Damien Riehl, Dazza Greenwood, Stefan C. Schicker, Tiphanie B., Mia Ihamuotila, Valentin Feklistov, Senne Mennes, Michiel Denis, Jean Mauris, Theis Klauberg, Michał Jackowski Prof., 杰克夫斯基, Brian W Tang, Alan Ragueneau, Aidas Kavalis, Karol Valencia, Maciej Kacymirow, Brittany L. Two days are not enough...

    Legal-tech and Web3 founder. Relentless.

Wow, what a journey #FutureLaw24 has been! 🔥 As the co-organizer and host, I'm over the moon with the feedback we've received: "Military-style precision," "best conference I've been to," and "so interesting I didn't know whether to be at a workshop, network or listen to the keynotes." This is what drives us. ❤️ The amazing food, the beautiful sunset views by the sea from our venue, and of course, those silly lawyer jokes of mine truly made the event special. Not to mention the incredible diversity of our attendees, coming from places as far as Cambodia, Brazil, Australia, the US, Canada, the UK, and France, alongside top legal professionals and even the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Estonia. None of this could have happened without the tireless efforts of Valentin, who ensured no task was left undone, our amazing organizing team, and the best group of volunteers led by the fantastic Karin-Annika. Thank you to everyone who joined and contributed, making FutureLaw '24 a landmark success in the legal innovation space. Here’s to many more! 🎉

If a rock this unremarkable can become famous, garner 350+ five-stars on Google, and inspire countless people to write reviews, then you can be anything. I discovered the Famous Rock of Tondi and talked about it at FutureLaw24. To my delight, Dazza and Mia were excited to join me on this pilgrimage, despite my cheeky promise that visiting the rock would likely not make them smarter, more attractive, or wealthier. Our journey was a blast—we even educated our Bolt driver about this remarkable historic landmark he never heard of, and took endless selfies to capture the rock’s unique energy. The adventure didn’t stop there. We felt the rock’s positive vibes and made wishes for all the abundance the universe could offer. The value of anything lies in how we choose to imbue it with meaning. More about the Famous Rock of Tondi: Nestled in the quiet town of Tondi, Estonia, the Famous Rock of Tondi is a testament to the power of the internet. This large boulder, declared a landmark by a popular vlogger, has amassed over 350 five-star reviews on Google and countless fan-written stories. Its fame continues to grow, inspiring many to visit and share their experiences. Three Questions to Ponder: Have you ever visited a place purely because of its quirky or viral reputation? What was your experience like? How do you think social media influences the popularity of seemingly ordinary places? What’s the most unusual or unexpected landmark you’ve ever visited, and what made it memorable? -------- 💥I am Olga. 🔺Providing tips for in-house lawyers. 🔺Educating about disruptive technologies. 🔺Delivering keynotes on the intersection of business, law, and tech.
