( Federal Reserve Survey of Consumer Finances, 2022) 🏡The homeownership rate for Black Americans is about 30 percentage points lower than that for white Americans. (Urban Institute, 2018) 🔒Black men are imprisoned at a rate of 1,807 per 100,000, compared to 312 per 100,000 for white men. (Prison Policy Initiative, 2021) 📖Black college graduates owe, on average, $25,000 more in student loan debt than white graduates.(Brookings Institution, 2016) 📤 Black workers earn, on average, 23% less than their white counterparts. (Economic Policy Institute, 2019)
