This week we did the 1st case in Israel of the next generation HF-OCT by Gentuity, LLC (Nipro Medical EMEA) at Shamir Cardiology cathlab (Shamir Medical Center (Assaf Harofeh)). First OCT Gentuity Case in Saudi Arabia at King Saud Medical City, Riyadh. We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the first case using Gentuity OCT in Saudi Arabia at King Saud Medical City in Riyadh. This milestone event featured the advanced USA-made Gentuity Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), which is FDA approved and now available in Saudi Arabia. Gentuity OCT, part of the Nipro company portfolio, boasts the world’s smallest imaging catheter at 1.8 F, delivering a rapid 100 mm pullback in just 1 second. This technology allows for a 30% reduction in contrast usage and can accurately detect vessels ranging from 1.3 mm to 6 mm in diameter.
