A survey of U.S. voters found that the majority of those surveyed see licensing boards as best equipped to ensure the responsible adoption of AI for their profession. Seventy-two percent of voters see the licensing boards—already overseeing professional standards and ethics—as critical to public safety. “Given their expertise and public trust, boards are well-positioned to support lawmakers in creating responsible AI policy,” the survey notes.
