One exciting addition and transition for 24-25 school year is the addition of a Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Michael Lipphardt. Mr. Lipphardt comes to Global Prep with extensive experience starting as a classroom teacher in Texas and then Chicago. Since he entered the world of education he has led in the areas of operations and finance at another school in Indy and has also led at Project Lead the Way. I am excited to have his strategic leadership and partnership to support the operational work at Global Prep which will include our current building and grounds, our middle school expansion, school nutrition, Human Resources and much more.

Over the summer, the leadership team has been hard at work preparing for your return. I am thrilled to share that we hired a new K-5 Assistant Principal, Mrs. Brooke Wingert. She has a passion for empowering educators and literacy and is looking forward to working alongside you to increase student achievement. 

We welcome Dr. Christina Thurman to Global Prep Academy as our Middle School Principal. Dr. Thurman has extensive experience as a Middle School administrator and we are excited to have her join our team now.

Welcome, Dr. Bobbie Sargent , our network Director of Mathematics. Dr. Sargent comes to Global Prep with nearly 20 years of experience in education at the classroom, building and network level. Her commitment to critical thinking and her experience building systems makes her a tremendous addition to our team. We are excited to have her leadership and expertise on our K-8 math program. Bienvenido, Dra. Bobbie Sargent, Directora de Matemáticas de nuestra red. La Dra. Sargent llega a Global Prep con casi 20 años de experiencia en educación a nivel de aula, edificio y red. Su compromiso con el pensamiento crítico y su experiencia en la construcción de sistemas la convierten en una excelente incorporación a nuestro equipo. Estamos entusiasmados de contar con su liderazgo y experiencia en nuestro programa de matemáticas de Kinder a 8vo Grado.

3rd Binational Exchange Indiana - Michoacán Program 2024. Two of our teachers are already in Michoacán - Mexico, thanks to our Exchange Program, Binational Migrant Education (PROBEM). Here you can see part of the great experience they have been having with Mexican students. This is another of the great opportunities that Global Preparatory Academy offers its teachers. 3er Intercambio Binacional Indiana - Michoacán 2024. Thank you to each of our CLT members for their great commitment and contribution to the retreat. We have intentionally designed the retreat to take the time to reflect on the past year and we focused on setting the stage to launch the new school year. The goal is for us to lock into the firm foundation of GPA leadership so that new team members come into a healthy, professional and focused team of GPA leaders.
