The next graduate in our #MakingtheJump 🎓 series celebrating undergraduates transitioning into their #supplychain careers this summer is Jacob Buckner. A top student in the classroom who graduated with a 3.99 GPA and interned at Tennessee Valley Authority, Lockheed-Martin, and Walmart during his time in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee Jacob joined TVA as a supply chain specialist. "From procurement agent to project manager to freight broker, the roles in #SCM prepare people with a broad perspective of how a business works," Buckner said. "It provides the ability to move into many roles within a company as their career progresses. The major is incredibly diverse, and provides a macro perspective into business operations. Companies will always need an efficient supply chain." Congratulations Jacob! 🎉
