In case you missed it, the Grant Professionals Certification Institute has successfully completed the accreditation renewal process from the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA). This achievement ensures that the Grant Professional Certified (GPC) credential maintains its accreditation. Grant professionals that have earned their GPC know the important value that accreditation plays in the validity of the credential, making the GPC impactful for years to come. GPCI seeks volunteers! Volunteering is a great way to build your skills, give back to your profession, earn points for credentialing, meet other grant pros, and have fun! And this Special Events Volunteer will be right in the mix of GPCI's social and fundraising events at the annual GrantSummit conference. Tasks include: communicating with sponsors, preparing guest lists, planning the event run-of-show, designing the event program, recruiting and supervising day-of-event volunteers, setting up the event room, and sending thank-you notes. These tasks may be shared by more than one special events coordinator. Heart TODAY at 1pm EST for an online session - Conducting a GPC Exam Study Group: A Facilitator Workshop. This Train-the-Trainer session is being provided at no cost in partnership with Katherine F.H. Heart to expand the number of GPC Exam Study Groups.
