Disaster Recovery Perspectives: Mary Sheehy is an ARPA Senior Project Manager at GrantWorks with 16 years' experience in project management and state/federal residential programs. Mary has a background with the Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery program, low-income housing development, and energy-efficiency residential upgrades. She previously worked with the Reconstruction, Rehabilitation, Elevation, Mitigation (RREM) program to aid several communities in New Jersey that were impacted by Hurricane Sandy. When reflecting on her experience with disaster recovery and the lessons she learned, Mary recognized how essential it was to connect with homeowners quickly and format contracts, invoices, and reports consistently for organized submittals to contractors.
