Our officers patrol designated areas of the city and are responsible for the prevention of crime, investigation of offenses, and apprehension of violators. Officers also respond to automobile accidents, crimes in progress and other emergency situations, and are required to exercise judgment and initiative in handling both routine and complex problems. 🇺🇸Gone but not forgotten. 🇺🇸 Today, members from all over the Triad including the Greensboro Police Department, City of Greensboro Fire Department, City of Greensboro, Winston-Salem Fire Department, Town of Pleasant Garden Fire, and Bethany Fire joined together for the 9/11 Stair Climb. This climb pays tribute to the first responders by climbing or walking the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center. Thank you to all who participated.
