The GreenState Foundation recently donated $25,000 to the International Rescue Committee in Iowa's Economic & Employment Readiness Program. This program provides refugees with access to employment and job readiness trainings, crucial for assisting high-need refugees in finding jobs and achieving economic self-sufficiency. The GreenState Foundation recently donated $50,000 to House of Hope's Extending Hope Capital Campaign. These funds will go towards an Empowerment Center, which will fill a gap in services for single mothers struggling to make ends meet, as well as women aging out of foster care. With this expansion, House of Hope will be able to serve 60-80 more families in the Cedar Valley with programs and services such as financial mentoring, transitional housing, life skills education, pathways to homeownership, and much more.
