Ok fine. Some thoughts on this new chapter. Embrace some joy. This is a breath of fresh air. A moment that opens up a new world. We could use a little lightness. If you haven't found the joyful, hysterical takes on her from people half your age, maybe get into them. It's been a dark election cycle, and you don't have to put any contradictions or nuances away to join this party celebrating the nobility of Biden and the best of Harris. This is now a persuasion election. Voters do not have a strong opinion about Harris yet, which means we get to form that opinion if we are quick and strong enough. Movement Labs is really not a messaging-first sort of organization, we are mostly focused on tactics, but having quality messages that work for your audience is fundamental to persuasion, so I encourage ya'll to all dip into GrowProgress and BlueRose message testing libraries instead of assuming that what works for you will work for persuadable voters. This is now a movement election - young people and volunteers are now going to be energized enough to get organized and become a real force, especially if they are organized. We can bring young folks and POC back into our movement coalition authentically and see another record turnout election. We will want to make sure our data vendors have updated their model scores so our universes are on point in about a month. Our plans mostly do not change. Lets fucking go!!

Grow Progress is seeking a Technical Writing Consultant to write, edit, and publish client-facing training materials over a 2- to 4-month period, with an option for extension should more work be available. Expected commitment is approximately 32 hours per month for the first two months and then approximately 8-16 hours a month for the remaining length of the contract term, all of which include a weekly check-in meeting and a weekly internal update meeting. Our ideal candidate can explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience. The top priority in this role is to write and edit informative content that drives self-service, such as help center articles and user guides. The second priority will be to set internal writing standards to drive a clear, user-friendly voice across all Sales, Customer Success, and Research Strategy documentation.
