One of our biggest goals at Guild Mortgage this year is to gain market share through recruiting, selective acquisitions, and delivering great customer service so more and more homeowners will choose Guild to deliver the promise of home. Our recent earnings report showed just what GREAT progress our teams have made on that goal! In the second quarter, Guild originated $6.5 billion in new home loans, up 69% from the previous quarter. That’s compared to only a 14% increase for the industry, based on MBA estimates. This shows that our relentless focus on providing a better customer-for-life experience, more programs, tools, and technology for our loan officers, and a culture that welcomes new teams to our platform is working and increasing our market share. Additionally, our servicing portfolio grew in the quarter to more than $89 billion, and we generated net income attributable to Guild of $37.6 million. All this growth means we have an even greater responsibility to continue delivering on our promises in the months and years ahead — and with the team we’ve built and new teammates we are adding, I am confident we are up for the challenge!

Rather than sitting on the sidelines (or worse - ignoring it), Guild Mortgage is making investments to actively leverage AI so that our people can work smarter and spend more time doing things that people do best — like serving our clients, partners and teammates. We’re proud to announce the launch of GuildGPT, our internal, proprietary AI platform now integrated into Guild’s vast knowledge database. Employees can ask plain language questions about products and guidelines and have the precise answer delivered within seconds. When you consider Guild has more than 500 distinct loan programs, this is an incredible time saver for our loan officers! We’ve processed more than 20,000 conversations in the first month and received loads of positive feedback! We also offer Microsoft CoPilot to our teams, have AI functions built into a number of our sales and marketing tools…and we are just getting started. We believe AI should give us more time for things that humans do best, and that’s exactly the results we’re starting to see.
