➡️ IBC 2024 Participant Showcase: The Scan Truck HAND (Human & Digital) is proud to be leading ‘Digital Replicas and Talent ID: Provenance, Verification and New Automated Workflows.’ at the annual IBC - International Broadcasting Convention – held at the RAI Amsterdam Center in Amsterdam, NL – 13-16 September, 2024. Today, we’re focusing on The Scan Truck, a Los Angeles-based mobile 3D scanning company and photogrammetry studio, who is partnering with us on the Digital Replicas and Talent ID project. Their mobile scanning technology captures talent with precision, producing high-quality digital assets crucial for accurate identity verification and seamless integration into various media formats. Jiggs Love, CEO, and Vladimir Galat, CTO, have been key contributors to the project, leveraging their extensive experience in 3D scanning and digital asset creation to directly oversee and ensure the successful scanning of the talent. By working with The Scan Truck, we aim to streamline the authentication process, ensuring reliable verification of digital personas and protecting against unauthorized virtual representations. This project will also showcase how to minimize legal complexities and enhance transparency in talent utilization through streamlined collaboration and licensing across industry stakeholders. It will simplify licensing agreements based on verified identities and demonstrate how producers and distributors can easily track the usage of talent across different platforms and formats, such as streaming services, podcasts, and video games, ensuring that the rights and permissions of the talent are respected and enforced.
