A Miami family on holiday in Vietnam faced sudden crisis as their young daughter was hospitalized in need of serious medical attention. Panic struck in the semi-abandoned hospital so far from home and desperate for anyone to answer their cries for help. The local Chabad Shliach suggested they reach out to Hatzolah Air and less than 12 hours later they were airborne on a MedEvac Jet with Physician and Flight Nurse to a top hospital in Singapore. Our volunteers worked tirelessly, ensuring her safe passage and stability. They remained vigilant until she was in the hands of skilled professionals, where she received the care she deserved. 🚨 Heartbreaking Tragedy in Majdal Shams 🚨 Hatzolah Air/MDA Medevac Helicopters were activated to provide crucial air support during the horrific tragedy that killed and injured dozens at a Soccer game in Majdal Shams. In coordination with MDA ground ambulances and the IDF, highly trained crews embarked on a series of critical missions to save as many lives as possible. Our HEMS Helicopters were dispatched directly to the scene to evacuate the most critically injured unconscious children and were then utilized for interfacility transports of critical patients. Tragically, many of the children were without a pulse and pronounced dead at the scene, while many others were emergently transported to Rambam Hospital and other trauma centers. These young patients received blood, were placed on ventilators, and were provided other critical life-support measures while en route to definitive life-saving care. It’s tragedies like this that we pray never happen, and when they do, we rely on our incredible teams to react immediately with the utmost care. 🌟 Emergency Medevac Mission: Life-Saving Wing-To-Wing Flight from Italy to Texas 🌟 Hatzolah Air’s Bravo Team 8 embarked on a Critical Medevac Mission to rescue a 76-year-old man vacationing in beautiful Lake Como, Italy. What began as a dream holiday turned into a fight for life when he experienced shortness of breath and was diagnosed abroad with a life-threatening illness. Despite his otherwise good health, his condition deteriorated rapidly, requiring aggressive treatment in a local ICU. Our dedicated HA Medical Crew ensured a safe transfer all the way to MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, TX with 2 flights, 2 planes and 2 crews executing a flawless wing-to-wing transfer. Due to the long distance and length of the flight, our long range Gulfstream G550 flew nonstop from Italy to NY where a second Hatzolah Aircraft was waiting to fly the next leg from NY to Texas.
