About us

About Us Welcome to Hawai’i Women in Tech—a community empowering women in tech careers. We provide a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space for women who have—or are pursuing—careers in tech. We envision more women in Hawai'i entering and thriving in the tech industry through peer-to-peer support and resources catered to their needs. Since 2019, our grassroots initiative has grown to nearly 400 members. In 2023, our inaugural leadership team stepped forward, committed to sustaining and expanding our events and support. Share: Facilitate meaningful connections with peers, industry experts, mentors, and speakers who can address the community's desired learning topics. Grow: Provide a secure space for women to access opportunities and information essential for personal and professional development, helping each of us reach our goals. HWIT Events: Explore our diverse range of events, including networking opportunities, career development and professional skills workshops, and community engagement activities. Join us as we create an inclusive space where women in tech can connect, share knowledge, and grow together.
