We’re excited to announce our partnership with The HBAR Foundation. Copper has integrated with the Hedera network to enable institutional access to DeFi and custody of HBAR and Hedera Token Service (HTS) tokens. As part of the integration, clients will be able to stake their HBAR to validators of their choosing, and perform DeFi transactions from Copper’s MPC wallet infrastructure, via API and Copper’s DeFi platform Copper Connect. We’re excited to announce that Copper.co, an award winning leader in digital asset custody, collateral management, and prime services, has integrated with the Hedera network to enable institutional access to DeFi and custody of HBAR and HTS tokens. As part of the integration, clients will be able to stake HBAR to validators of their choosing, and perform DeFi transactions from Copper’s MPC wallet infrastructure, via API and Copper’s DeFi platform Copper Connect. Once Copper clients have their funds within a DeFi vault, they can interact with Hedera DEXs like SaucerSwap Labs for both HBAR and HTS tokens via Copper Connect (EVM address), which enables the Copper platform to sign transactions made on external applications. Depending on client demand, HBAR will also be available for trading via ClearLoop, Copper’s off-exchange settlement solution which provides secure digital asset custody to institutional clients while mitigating counterparty and insolvency risk. This partnership follows several developments in the Hedera ecosystem that broaden institutional entry, including when Archax, the first FCA-regulated digital asset exchange, broker, and custodian, #tokenized its shares of the BlackRock ICS US Treasury Money Market Fund (#MMF) on the #Hedera network. This institutional expansion also further builds on the previous launch of tokenized access to abrdn’s MMFs, which Archax created on both the Hedera and Ethereum blockchains last year. A heartfelt Happy Anniversary to the HBAR Team’s Solutions Engineer, Tom Astill! 🎉 On this month's #MeetTheTeam, We've had the pleasure of asking him some insightful questions about his role at HBAR. 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱? I’m based in Leicestershire, UK. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗕𝗔𝗥? 𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘂𝘀 𝗮 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲! My role as a Solutions Engineer at HBAR is diverse and dynamic. I manage infrastructure and develop systems and tooling to enhance our internal analytics capabilities. A significant aspect of my role includes conducting technical due diligence on grant applications and evaluating existing grantee milestones, often involving verifying on-ledger activity through network data analysis. Additionally, I troubleshoot a range of issues and provide support both internally and externally to developers and teams building on or integrating with Hedera. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗕𝗔𝗥? What I enjoy most about working at HBAR is the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge distributed ledger technology on a daily basis. It's inspiring to work alongside a highly motivated team within an ecosystem that boasts a passionate community. It's also great to see all the interesting ways individuals and companies are using Hedera to improve real-world use cases. Technology just became Melodious! Thanks to Professor Prabhu Rajagopal and IITM-TTO, ICSR, I had the wonderful opportunity to witness a unique collaboration between IIT Madras and the- one and only -Legendary music maestro Shri A R Rahman! Was pleasantly surprised to know that the Oscar-winning Visionary composer is also a Visionary tech innovator! A R Rahman is associated with 'Secret Mountain' (Watch- https://lnkd.in/gV5RbRjt) - a Metahumans project on Hedera- a blockchain platform which has the participation of IIT Madras. A R Rahman's patriotic endeavour of making India a frontrunner in the global the VR/AR revolution is inspiring. His efforts towards enhancing the presence of Indian, i.e., Bharatiya culture in the Virtual universe while embracing global cultural diversity exemplifies Bharat's ability to lead as an example when it comes to Inclusive technology. It will be interesting to observe the evolution of this collaboration from the perspective of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). Blockchain technology would enable protection of IP assets such as digital art, music, metahumans etc developed by creators in virtual universes. Protection of IP assets using a blockchain may enable monetization of digital media and metahuman projects such as Virtual Influencers across various domains such as gaming, fashion,education, advertising etc. One can only imagine the massive scale of opportunities for employment, investments and growth as a new sector of a creator-led Virtual Economy emerges. The future seems exciting and It is sure going to sound sweet 🎶 ! Once again thanking and congratulating Prof.Prabhu Rajagopal for this amazing endeavor.

We're excited to see that Major League Paintball (MLPB) has launched the MLPB Armory, a digital collectible marketplace for officially licensed collectibles, in collaboration with Momental on the #Hedera network. MLPB is the governing body of professional paintball - a sport with a rapidly growing fanbase worldwide. Through their new marketplace, the organization plans to turbo-charge fan engagement and take this league to the next level. To kick things off, the MLPB Armory is launching its player cards, digital collectibles of the league's players, with royalties that ensure both the players and the card creators get compensated directly.
