Before joining our residency program at Lakeside Medical Center, Dr. Cascio taught high school International Baccalaureate Biology. This #4thofJuly holiday, prevent injuries and keep the sparkle in your celebration. Last year in Palm Beach County, 11 people needed trauma center-level care due to fireworks injuries, including five children. More than half of these unintentional injuries happened during July 4th festivities. Our Trauma Agency advises you to leave fireworks to the pros and attend public displays.
