Rebuilding the backbone of American business, one veteran at a time!

About us

Mission: Our mission is to rebuild the backbone of American business, with veterans. The workforce for hard-tech sectors critical to our national security needs to be rebuilt. We believe veterans are the ideal labor force to form the backbone around which we can rebuild. Further, we believe that our military should be one of the primary and premium sources of talent for employers. So we are building a Talent SmartGrid™ to enable our nation to better leverage our human resources. Background: Headlamp serves two sides, veterans and employers, and partners with the veteran transition ecosystem. For veterans, Headlamp is a Veteran Transition Accelerator that helps them execute their transition plans. We enable veterans to explore roles that fit their skills and interests, then work with employers to create opportunities. For employers, our primary product is SkillBridge-as-a-Service (SBaaS), powered by Career Liaison Officers (CLNOs) to provide employers with “white-glove” access to select veteran talent under the Department of Defense (DOD) SkillBridge program. We are also developing Workforce by Headlamp, which enables employers to leverage SBaaS to build a pipeline of talent, trained to their standards. Our initial effort is with the Chips and Science Act, for a semiconductor workforce. We help employers answer: What are the critical initiatives in your organization? How could service members and veterans help drive results/impact? What are your priority roles that are a best fit for veterans? What is DOD SkillBridge? SkillBridge is a congressionally mandated, DOD program that enables veterans to leave their place of duty up to 180 days early to work and learn at a place of potential future employment. Participating veterans continue to receive their full pay and benefits. Headlamp’s services are available to employers in a subscription model. to contact us at [email protected].
