David possessed a quick, curious mind and understood how the intersection of public health, data, and technology could bring about good. Their tireless dedication to serving the public made David a champion and supporter of the Healthix mission. They regularly collaborated with Healthix on large projects. “I knew how helpful Healthix was in theory through our work together and publications, but really hadn’t considered how it could affect my own life,” they said. You will be missed, David. Know that you have made an indelible mark in this world. Your legacy will be remembered by all who had the good fortune to know you and those that did not but benefitted from the contributions you have made to public health.

NADAP's care managers have access to the Healthix portal and they're able to view all inpatient and outpatient visits, as well as clinical summaries, hospital discharge paperwork, and lab test results. Because they receive these alerts in real-time, our care managers are able to intervene and can play an active role in the discharge and aftercare planning.
