Major Announcement! HMP will be hosting our very own fundraiser on September 28th to raise money to provide free tuition for Veterans heavy equipment training! Part of the fundraiser includes a chance to win a car smash! That's right! The winner of the raffle will smash a car with an excavator! The winner will get an hour of operations and fun time in an excavator and will dig in the dirt, stack tires, play basketball and drive our obstacle course. Then they will be moved to our car smash area and the real fun begins! The winning raffle ticket will be randomly drawn and the winner will be announced on Friday, September 20th, 2024 at 3:00pm. The winner will be notified and the car smash will take place on Saturday, September 28th, 2024 at 3:00 pm at our fundraiser. 100% of funds collected through our Car Smash Raffle will pay tuition for Veterans to take our certified heavy equipment training. HMP Training Inc., a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation, is a tax-exempt organization under state and federal laws. HMP Training's Car Smash Raffle Rules are set forth below. By purchasing a raffle ticket, you agree to be bound by these rules and regulations. Rules: - No limit on number of tickets purchased by an individual - Must be 18 years or older to enter - Winner must be able to attend fundraiser on September 28th at 3:00pm - Only one person can win the car smash and time cannot be divided between multiple people - No refunds on raffle ticket purchases - Odds of winning are based on the number of raffle tickets purchased - No physical tickets will be sent to online purchasers. As many of you know we offer a 120 hour, 3 certification training program and our goal is to provide free tuition. We have a new class starting on June 3rd and we are looking for students between the ages of 18 and 24. We have access to grant money that will pay tuition to students 24 and under. Students must be a Maryland resident and have transportation to our facility. Classes run Mon-Fri from 9am to 3pm.
