Over the last few weeks, employees from our corporate office had several different opportunities to support the Irving Schools Foundation's back to school drive, Supplies for Success. Thank you to everyone who donated supplies and volunteered for this great event! We’re proud to partner with an organization that gives back so much to the students in this community. #heidelbergmaterialshelps

Excited to announce we have been selected for award negotiation to receive up to $5 million in funding from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to create a robust, web-based tool that can help ready-mix concrete, cement and aggregate facilities to quickly produce high-quality Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). Another step forward in our push for more sustainable construction materials. Read more on our website: https://bit.ly/3zXGjDw

Check out this recent pour from our Western Ontario Concrete team. Not just a regular pour, the team partnered with Cor-Tuf UHPC materials to deliver Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC) from a ready-mix truck for the first time in Ontario. From production to logistics, the 120 cubic meters (157 cubic yards) UHPC pour for a footing and slab on grade was well executed. To top it off, the four-day compressive strengths exceeded 118 MPA (>17,000 psi). It was great to be part of this innovative materials pour! #UHPC David Eves Michael Halavonja
