💜 Help at Home Project Manager and new parent Brittanee Ebiringa, PMP shared her experience with us after the birth of her new baby boy.    It’s employee experiences like Brittanee’s that make us proud of our employer brand.     “I’ve never worked for a company with so much genuine care for its employees and cannot stress how much I truly love working for Help at Home,” said Brittanee. “After giving birth, I received benefits like paid maternity leave, which was appreciated. But, even more appreciated was the unconditional support, flexibility and advocacy I received from my leader and team while welcoming my new family member.”    And -- icing on the cake 🎂 -- we’re also proud that our brand has just received recognition by Newsweek as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Parents and Families in 2024! 🏆   ➡ According to Newsweek, as more parents juggle raising a family with their work obligations, they want employers who offer flexibility and are supportive of work-life balance which is imperative in today's workplace.    Read more here: https://lnkd.in/gmBBshja #HelpatHome #HomeCare #GreatestWorkplaces

Zip codes often correlate with health-related social needs (HRSN), such as access to care, transportation, nutrition, health literacy and housing. 🏡   HRSN impact overall health and wellbeing which is why we’re focused on addressing these unique factors that can adversely impact our clients’ health and wellbeing in their communities.   Help at Home’s Community Health Workers are part of an integrated care team with the goal to connect home care to the larger healthcare ecosystem to ensure health equity for underserved populations in our communities.    #HelpatHome #HomeCare #HealthEquity

August is National Wellness Month, so we’re taking this opportunity to highlight the importance of regular, routine appointments with a primary care doctor 🏥.   Regular wellness checks with a primary care physician can prevent more challenging health conditions in the future by assessing lifestyle, evaluating health risks, screening for health conditions to catch potential risks early.    That’s why one of the goals of Care Coordination, from Help at Home is to successfully connect home care to health care – we connect our clients to their PCP to ensure they understand the importance of wellness visits.     To date, we’ve connected 70% of hard-to-reach, dual-eligible clients in the program to their PCPs. #HelpatHome #HomeCare #NationalWellnessMonth
