As a year-round distributor, Henry grows and packs avocados from its groves in California and imports from growers in Mexico, Peru, Chile, and Colombia that meet the company’s strict quality and freshness standards. Fresh avocados are marketed and distributed through Henry’s sales and regional ripening centers and through CustomRipe Avocado Company regional ripening centers. The quality of ripened avocados is related to their freshness and to the training and experience of the people doing the ripening. Henry has the most experienced and well-trained ripening personnel in the industry. All 120 forced-air ripening rooms are specially designed to enable ripening personnel to achieve Henry’s precise custom-ripening standards.
