🤔 How does HEXPOL TPE support the automotive value chain to increase the use of recycled materials? 💡 We've expanded our range of Dryflex Circular Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) materials to offer: + TPEs with up to 75% recycled content (PCR and PIR). + They can be used for interior, exterior and technical automotive parts, including inlay mats, HVAC and air deflector seals. + Representative grades have been tested to automotive standards for odour and emissions. + TPEs with 25 to 50% PCR content sourced from within the automotive industry. Looking to engage your workforce in sustainability? We were, and we turned to Carbon Literacy training as a way to empower our HEXPOL TPE UK team to reduce their own carbon footprints as well as the company’s. After developing our own courses with the help of the Carbon Literacy Project, we are successfully taking the UK team through the training, and 98% of employees are now certified as Carbon Literate. We felt it was important that everyone had the same opportunity to take the training. Every role and every employee can make positive changes.

The sun was shining over Lake Vänern when we recently hosted a day of networking, socialising, and a look behind the scenes at HEXPOL TPE in Åmål, Sweden.   It was a pleasure to catch up with customers. They had a plant tour, so they could see in person how the TPE materials they purchase are developed, tested, and produced. They were also introduced to our new medical line – a first step towards segregated production.   Sustainable development was a hot topic. In particular, how can we ensure material compliance while transitioning away from virgin-fossil sources.   Special thanks also go to our guest speaker, Hans Pehrson, Project Zero lead at Polestar.
