Payroll director Michelle Flowers, CPP. When Michelle started at the company in 2017, there were fewer than 400 teammates. Since then, we’ve grown significantly – and Michelle has built a payroll team dedicated to serving every Highline Warren teammate with excellence. Whether verifying a birthday, work state or other piece of information, Michelle pores over details to keep things running smoothly. Any anomaly can halt the payroll process, so Michelle and her team work hard to ensure everything is correct, using numerous checks and balances along the way. “We aim for 100% accuracy and 100% security,” Michelle says. “The small details we verify for payroll can also be exploited for identity theft. Our teammates rely on us in multiple ways, and that’s not something we take lightly.” By taking care of her teammates, Michelle allows them to focus on our customers. A respected leader in the payroll community, Michelle sits on the certification board at PayrollOrg and has been published in their magazine, PAYTECH, more than a dozen times. When the workday is done, Michelle spends time with her five dogs (four dachshunds and one miniature poodle) and paints anything she can get her hands on. She and her husband are Georgia Bulldog superfans and boast that they own just about every piece of Bulldog merchandise available. Thank you for everything you do, Michelle! We’re also looking for an IT Support Specialist in Glen Dale, West Virginia. This teammate will provide on-site and remote support for our internal customers. At Highline Warren, we manufacture 200 million gallons of automotive liquids annually. The secret to our success? Dedicated teammates. Take Edwin Rodriguez, operations manager at our Leomister plant located just outside of Boston. Edwin is often the first teammate to arrive at the plant each morning, beginning his day by connecting with the production supervisor and meeting with each department to ensure everyone is set up for success. After that point, every day looks a little different - he covers everything from safety to staffing. The goal? Maintain a steady flow on the production line in order to deliver quality products to our customers on schedule. Edwin’s proactive attitude and passion for hands-on problem solving help maintain productivity across the plant. When he isn’t at the plant, Edwin enjoys riding his motorcycle and taking care of his lawn. He says both hobbies allow him to unwind and reflect, often leading to his best ideas. “I want to always come in with a positive mindset and have a game plan for what we’re going to achieve because my teammates count on me to do both,” he told us.
