Highridge Medical recently hosted 10 surgeons new to the Mobi-C® Cervical Disc in our Colorado facility. The program focused on Mobi-C and anterior fusion solutions. The interactive format included didactic presentations, case reviews, panel discussions, and hands-on cadaveric training. We’d like to thank our faculty Dr. Kern Singh and Dr. Neill Wright, MD as well as everyone who attended for making this such a great educational event! #spinesurgery #spinesurgeon #neurosurgery #neurosurgeon #orthopedics #cervicaldisc

Watch Aubrey’s scoliosis story: https://lnkd.in/e35b_iZC Aubrey Cindia, a talented dancer and singer unexpectedly received a diagnosis of scoliosis at 9 years old. She wore a back brace for years, but her curvature continued to progress. Faced with tough decisions, Aubrey and her family decided to pursue Vertebral Body Tethering. Thanks to Dr. Ryan Goodwin and the tethering procedure she received, Aubrey is back on her toes, dancing with strength. #scoliosis #spinesurgeon #spinesurgery #spinesurgeon #scoliosisawareness #scoliosiswarrior Post-operative risks for The Tether include overcorrection of the instrumented curve, cord breakage, and bone screw migration. Full contraindication and risk information can be found at myscoliosis .com In the United States, The Tether is approved as a Humanitarian Device for skeletally immature patients with idiopathic scoliosis with a Cobb angle of 30-65 degrees. Patients should have failed bracing and/or be intolerant to brace wear. There is probable benefit of the device, but its efficacy is still unproven. Product information and availability may vary from country to country.
