Get Inventory Ready for Amazon’s Black Friday & Cyber Monday 2024   To ensure you’re ready for this year’s Black Friday/Cyber Monday (BF/CM), you’ll need to make sure all of your inventory prepping and planning is in a good place!   What Q4 Inventory Prepping Should You Be Doing Right Now?   ❗ Deals have already opened up within Amazon Vendor and Seller Central. Try out Lightning Deals, Best Deals, Promotions, and Coupons for BF/CM. You can and should start submitting these deals to Amazon now because Lightning Deals and Best Deals need to be submitted by Friday, 9/6 ❗ Amazon’s warehouses get bogged down during Q4 sales, so it’s crucial that you get your products to their warehouses in time ❗ Ship your products to Amazon before the end of September, or at least have your products ready to go by then to avoid any issues ❗ The deadline for Amazon’s BF/CM this year is Saturday, 10/19. If you don’t get your product shipped to AWD Distribution Centers in time, you can still ship through Direct Fulfillment (although available deals will be more limited)   If you need inventory advice and assistance with planning for Amazon’s Black Friday & Cyber Monday 2024, reach out to us at https://lnkd.in/dxU9Bxeq     #blackfriday #cybermonday #amazon #ecommerce

📈 New Amazon Brand Store Metrics & How to Use Them 📊 Amazon quietly added new features earlier this year. Check out our thoughts on these new additions and learn how to utilize them to elevate your brand! 1. Brand Store Quality Rating: This is an interesting feature that measures the performance of your Brand Store by using a “dwell time” metric, or the amount of time a consumer spends on your Brand Storefront. It is particularly useful if you’re considering a content refresh and want to measure the effectiveness of those changes. Amazon also provides dwell time for your peers so you can see how your store is performing when compared to those with similar average selling prices and sales within a product category. 2. Brand Store Recommended Actions: Amazon will now share recommended updates you can make to your brand store, ranked by estimated dwell time impact, that will help grow sales, build your brand, and drive brand loyalty. Change the layout of your main page, add a tab or sub-tab, and consider adding video and feature products. The possibilities are limitless! 3. Brand Engagement Data: Amazon is now providing SKU-level data for each item in your brand store. You can sort them from highest to lowest performing based on views, clicks, CTR, or conversion rate for various periods. To best utilize this data, consider sorting your ASINS by lowest to highest performing. This way you can review poorly performing products and develop strategic improvements that could increase traffic. Do you think seeing these metrics will impact your content approach to your Brand Store or advertising strategy? Let us know in the comments below! Amazon Tightens FBA Placement Fee Guidelines for 2024: What Sellers Need to Know These new rules impose specific carton and pallet requirements for you to qualify for the Amazon-optimized inbound option. This is needed so you can avoid inbound placement service fees.  Shipments must now include at least five identical cartons or pallets per item, each containing the same quantity and item mix. Amazon is once again trying to modify Seller behavior through fees while stating that these changes will improve customer experience and FBA operational efficiency. Here’s a breakdown of how this works: Eligible Shipment Example: Plan 1: Five cartons, each containing 100 units of Item A and 20 units of Item B. All cartons are identical in content and quantity, making the plan eligible for the Amazon-optimized option, avoiding placement fees. Ineligible Shipment Example(s): Plan 2: Four cartons contain 100 units of Item A and 20 units of Item B, but the fifth carton only contains 100 units of Item A. The missing item B in the fifth carton disqualifies the plan. Plan 3: All five cartons contain Items A and B, but the fifth carton has a different quantity of Item A (50 units instead of 100). This variation in quantity makes the plan ineligible. Do you have questions on how to maintain profitability on Amazon and navigate these new requirements? It’s that time of year! To ensure your Q4 goes smoothly, Amazon recommends that all inventory needed for Q4 shipping be in their fulfillment network by October 19th. Need some guidance? Here are the Top 3 Inventory Tips from our experts: 1.  Sort Your Catalog by Attribute – If your catalog offers a wide range of products, such as t-shirts, consider putting them into “attribute” buckets. For example: Long sleeve, short sleeve, and so on. This will help you determine which of these attributes are your strongest sellers in Q4 so you can allocate inventory accordingly. 2.  Look Back – How did each of these attributes sell in previous years? Your sales history can help you select the SKUs that drove the top, mid, and bottom third of sales. Focus your inventory on those top and mid-tier drivers. 3.  Trickle Method – Shipping in large quantities at one time can put stress on your internal warehouse operations. We recommend that companies send their total quantity to Amazon over the course of 3 or 4 weeks. Additionally, smaller SPD shipments will be delivered before large LTL/FTL shipments because they don’t require a dock appointment. Put any and all of your questions about Q4 inventory prep in the comments below, or reach out by clicking the link > https://bit.ly/4aqMePa to schedule a free consultation with one of our experts. #q4planning #amazon #ecommerce
