Hip Hop is Green

15 years ago today Keith Tucker produced the very first Hip Hop Green Dinner to bring health and wellness to our communities. These Dinners were the first ever of its kind in Hip Hop where we brought Emcees to perform and speak and then served a full vegan meal. We went on the produce the first national plant based Hip Hop tour ever and over the years produced many events and served over 40k free meals to youth and families. We helped build a vegan health and wellness movement in the black community. Who would know that this first small event would change Hip Hop forever! In 2016 Keith Tucker, founder of Hip Hop is Green created a new element in the culture of Hip Hop the @10thelementofhiphop which is health and wellness. Today we celebrate dedication, service and community building on our 15th anniversary and we are excited about the many new projects we have that serve our youth.
