The Covenant Homeownership Program is now open! Hopelink was proud to support this program, created by House Bill 1474, in the 2023 state legislative session. Thousands of families in Washington state were previously denied the opportunity to build wealth for their families through owning a home due to redlining and racially restrictive covenants. The Covenant Homeownership Program was built to address the long-term impacts of those disparities by providing assistance through no-interest loans for downpayments and closing costs. Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who joined us for our second-ever Hopelink Neighborhood Fair!! The City of Redmond, WA Derby Days is such an exciting weekend for the Redmond community and we’re honored to take part in this festival. It was such a joy to connect with everyone who dropped by throughout the day to enjoy the festivities, learn about Hopelink’s services, connect with our partners, and donate to Hopelink Food Markets.   We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our partners who helped make this event possible: Amazon, Overlake Medical Center & Clinics, KeyBank Redmond, Waste Management Inc., Puget Sound Energy, NeuroStim TMS Centers, Northwest Kidney Centers, Sound Credit Union, IACS and Bellwether Housing. The utilities that power our homes, including water, heat and air conditioning are essential in maintaining health and stability. Last year, Hopelink’s Energy Assistance program supported our neighbors with $10.7 milllion distributed in Energy Assistance. This Community Appreciation Month, we want to take a moment to thank Microsoft Microsoft for their investment in affordable housing in our region - such as with the new Together Center campus which opened last year.
