About us
We are a design-oriented firm with a deep commitment to outstanding overall service. Our design teams implement rigid quality control procedures throughout the project, and the process is continually monitored through our quality control oversight procedures. We are equally committed to excellence in all aspects of project delivery and client services, whether it be design, cost control, schedule adherence, contract document production, constructability or construction phase services. We have received more than 100 awards for design excellence including the AIA Florida Firm Award and the first-ever AIA Orlando Firm of the Year Award. While this is an important measurement of our success and reputation, we believe an equally important measure is the ever-growing number of clients who return to us again and again. At HuntonBrady, design excellence and client satisfaction are the same goal. #WeAreHuntonBrady

HuntonBrady is honored to be a part of the AdventHealth Daytona Beach legacy as they continue to expand services in the East Volusia market. We started our journey with AdventHealth in 2004 with the original hospital and new campus, and we have helped the Daytona Beach facilities grow in the two decades since. Yesterday's event celebrated the groundbreaking of the upcoming tower expansion, and the team participated in planting a tree to mark the start of this new chapter for the campus.

Being creative and communicating ideas by hand is a large part of our daily routine as architects and designers. For this reason, Lucas Najle, AIA started a monthly sketching group in 2022 to encourage the team to draw/paint/etc. in their free time. A new topic is chosen by the previous month's winner, and everyone is invited to pin their work up in the studio to collect votes. We love getting to see the team's hand sketches on display in the studio!

The HuntonBrady team celebrated the opening of the AdventHealth Millenia Off-Site Emergency Department (OSED) last month. The 19,600 square foot facility provides both residents and Orlando visitors with access to services such as respiratory therapy, diagnostic imaging, and a full-service laboratory. The OSED is conveniently located off the I4 Conroy Road exit, and will eventually grow to a full-service hospital campus. We are grateful for our continued partnership with AdventHealth as they strive to bring high-quality healthcare to the State of Florida! Earlier this month, we took a quick trip out to Freedom Ride’s property to deliver the official check from our putt-putt FUNdraiser. Executive Director Veronica Whetro toured us around the new facilities, and introduced us to some of the resident horses. Located on 25-acres near Orlando’s Packing District, Freedom Ride works with 17 horses to enrich the lives of individuals with disabilities through their different therapeutic riding programs. To learn more about their mission and the benefits of equine therapy, visit their website: www.freedomride.com

HuntonBrady had a great time joining the Women in Healthcare- Florida Chapter for their tour of our two newest Baptist Health projects in Nassau Crossing. The free-standing ED and medical office building are scheduled to open in Fall 2024, and will provide care to the growing Yulee community. Our Designer Giselle Holz and Construction Administrator Megan McReynolds presented alongside Baptist Health’s Stacy Ferguson and Batson-Cook Construction’s Thomas Walton to share their knowledge and experience on the two projects before walking the site with the group. Getting to support women in the AEC and healthcare industries is always a day well spent, and we can’t wait to celebrate the completion of these two projects with everyone later this year!

Even though summer break has officially begun here in Florida, this group of high schoolers are spending their free time learning about architecture through University of Central Florida’s Knights Design summer camp. Our team was more than happy to talk to the group of 15+ students about our firm and our approach to design, before showing them around the studio. The group got to take home 3D printed models of Truist Plaza to commemorate their tour. Thank you to Herbert (Tommy) James from UCF for reaching out to HuntonBrady for the opportunity to speak to these young and aspiring architects!

We had a fantastic time at the Annual ACE Summit & Reverse Expo at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate! It was nice to learn, present, listen and connect with health systems, consultants and specialty vendors. Our appreciation to Trey Beuttel, Brent Petty, CMRP and the rest of the amazing team at Bluegrass Business Media for a world-class conference!

What a beautiful day for a walking lunch as we toured one of our newest Off-Site Emergency Departments (OSED) for AdventHealth. Located at the former Holy Land site, AdventHealth Millenia is a new 24-bed ED that will help service this growing community of Orange County. The ED is designed to eventually connect to a full-service hospital on the same site. Special thanks to all of our team members who worked on this project and who led today's tour! HuntonBrady Architects recently completed work on the 90,000 SF interior design of SIMCOM Aviation Training's newest corporate office and training facility in Lake Nona, Florida. The facility includes 12 full-motion flight simulators, a grand lobby, café/dining space, classrooms, and an auditorium. The team drew inspiration from SIMCOM's innovative and technological branding, featuring geometric patterns and bright colors throughout the building.
