After last year’s IPO, we all know Arm. But do you know how it all started? What started as a #UK government initiative to put a computer in every classroom has transformed into the largest IPO of 2023. Lucky for us Rene Haas, CEO of Arm is our keynote speaker at this year's Annual Conference, and we’ll hear it all. Interviewed by his long-time friend, Amir Faintuch, CEO of Volumez and former Senior Vice President at Intel Corporation (and our very own steering committee member), Rene will share his experiences leading the world’s most influential CPU architecture, which impacts over 70% of the global population. We have so much to talk about: the future of the #semiconductor industry, Arm’s role in advancing computing in the age of #AI, the evolution of LLMs in infrastructure, the story behind thier historic IPO and more. Believe us, we’ll cover it all. September 3rd, Palo Alto. Apply here - https://bitly.cx/DQr1 BTW, our Annual Conference is part of ICON’s Innovation Week, featuring a lineup of incredible speakers. Before we kick off our next #batch, we realized we haven’t introduced you to the startups from our last one! First up, meet the trailblazer: Gilad Uziely, Co-founder and CEO of #Sequence, a startup dedicated to improving people and small business owners lives through financial mystery and well-being. We sat down with Gilad to learn more about Sequence and his experience with SV101. We’ll let him take it from here – > 🔹 What led to Sequence being founded? Failure. Before Sequence, we were working hard on a different product/idea that, despite raising $8M, never gained traction. At a certain point, we realized we had to pivot. Through a rigorous process, we discovered the problem that Sequence would eventually solve. 🔹 What does Sequence actually do? Sequence improves people's well-being through financial organization. The average American juggles around 15 accounts, including credit cards, loans, bank accounts, and fintech apps. This fragmentation makes it hard to manage finances. Sequence brings all accounts into one place, automating savings, optimizing finances, and moving money based on various criteria. Unlike other platforms, Sequence lets you execute your financial strategy directly, making it easier to manage your finances and achieve your goals. 🔹 What’s the story behind your startup’s name? It’s straightforward. We build cash flow sequences, so naming the startup Sequence was a natural choice. 🔹 Any ICONic moments from SV101? It’s not just one thing or connection; it’s the network and community that makes ICON special. The entire experience as a whole is powerful. What I found extremely valuable (and fun) was spending two weeks in a big house with 13 other super-smart founders at a similar stage.

#ThrowbackThursday - My Take on SV101 by ICON: A few weeks back, Alon and I had the privilege of participating in SV101 by ICON in Palo Alto, alongside a group of incredible people I’m proud to call friends - Batch 15 (Blings.io, Evermile, Jigso AI, Sequence, Yess, Clarity and two stealth mode startups by Alon Kollmann, and by Rotem Lurie & Or Vaknin). After a highly selective process, we were fortunate to join the ICON - Israel Collaboration Network family. Yasmin Lukatz, Jessica Hare, Noa Topaz, Karyn Priel, Liat Miller and the entire team did their best to make our experience as valuable as possible. Way way beyond our expectations! We met inspiring individuals, learned a lot, refined our long-term mission, and most importantly, forged friendships for life. The ICON team is currently receiving applications for batch 16 - and the minimum that we can do to bring back to the community is ensuring that the next generation of ICON companies will be at least as good as the previous batches (and believe me.. the bar is high). Feel free to reach out if you’d like to learn more about it! #ICON #PaloAlto #Founders #sv101 #TechStartups #Networking #Entrepreneurship #Community

Our inbox is overflowing 🤯 That’s our cue to share some SV101 information, sooo listen up: 🔹Who are we looking for? Glad you asked. We’re looking for Silicon Valley-ready founders who can gain the most from engaging with the best minds in the Valley. 🔹Who can apply? Founders of startups from all verticals and business models (AKA B2B, B2C, and B2B2C) with a minimum of $1M raised. If you've bootstrapped your startup, significant revenue qualifies. We don’t mind if your product is in the early stages, as long as the founders know exactly what they are building and why. 🔹How can I leave my startup for two weeks?! Our 192 alumni prove that dedicating two weeks to focus on your personal and professional growth will bring invaluable benefits to your startup. Luckily for our inbox, there aren’t any questions on the value of the program or the game-changing opportunities it offers to build your US network. Want to hear all about it from our freshman alumni? Feel free to ping them. This is what we call a full Houzz! This morning, we gathered over 80 (!!) female founders for an exclusive session with Adi Tatarko, co-founder and Executive Chair (ex-CEO) of Houzz, one of the most successful startups founded by #Israelis. In this case, Adi and her Husband Alon Cohen, Co-Founder and CEO of Houzz. Together, we got the #unfiltered story of building Houzz, which started as a side project following Adi and Alon's frustrating experience renovating their house. It was mind blowing to hear how they navigated this side project into a global #powerhouse that soon became every homeowner's best friend for renovation planning. Adi emphasized the importance of your #mindset when beginning fundraising. It's essential to start confidently and from a position of strength, ideally with strong #validations of the product's market viability and the team's ability to lead. She also discussed their initial user acquisition strategy, including reaching out to parents from her kids' school (Hi Kathren 👋, Bryen’s mom from 3rd grade), and revealed her secret weapon when everything seems stuck (spoiler: the Frog story - it’s a must hear!). Thank you to all the founders who joined us! May we all jump together 🐸 Yasmin Lukatz I Jessica Hare I Noa Topaz I Karyn Priel I Liat Miller I Shlomit Cohen I Yaniv Benji I Noa Eilon | Shani Yavin

Eat - Sleep - Lake swimming - Repeat 🕶️☀️🏝️ Ok, we actually did plenty more: yoga, desert stargazing, unconference sessions, group activities, and we’d happily repeat it all. Weekend reminder: sometimes you need to #disconnect and #recharge. Our desert retreat was a fantastic opportunity to do exactly that with our SV101 by ICON alumni. Special thanks to The way of Mantra for a great production, and Doron Domb the man who makes it all possible (and we’re not easy ;) BTW, your chance to join our next retreat is here!
