A little over a decade ago, LinkedIn found me on LinkedIn, hired me to lead the Graph team and build a new graph database that we called LIquid. This was the best job I ever had. A few months ago, ID.me found me on LinkedIn and the vision and leadership from Blake Hall and the team at ID.me was just too exciting to pass up. So time for my #nextplay. Clearly, I still love the LinkedIn product. A little melancholy just now. Heartfelt thanks to so many people I have worked with over the years: Swee Lim, Ya Xu, Igor Perisic, Kevin Scott, and particularly to Andrew Carter, Andrew Rodriguez, and Roman Averbukh, and many, many more who gave it their all to make LIquid a reality and lastly to my friend and colleague, Bogdan Arsintescu who led the team across the finish line. To Bhaskar Rathod and Jesse Weaver I wish you the best of luck with LIquid 2.0. Go!
