Teens Grow Greens illuminates the multitude of opportunities young adults can pursue and promotes exploration and experimentation in many pathways beyond the university system." We spoke with Kelly Michael Anderson, marketing director and apprenticeship manager, video & photo, to learn about the multitude of diverse programs the nonprofit org offers young people to help them find their passions and develop marketable skills.

Earlier this week, we hosted our very first Creative Legal Clinic in partnership with our friends at the Wisconsin Entertainment Lawyers Association. WELA's panel of legal experts shared valuable insights and answered questions on copyrights, intellectual property, and fair use doctrine for artists and creatives from a wide range of disciplines. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the lively discussion! The overwhelming positive feedback and requests for more have us excited to explore ways to offer these events more frequently and in various formats. Inspired by his father's final wish, former advertising executive Carl Brown launched the Fresh Coast Jazz Festival, committing all proceeds to charitable causes. Internationally renowned, platinum-selling saxophonist Boney James (pictured) will headline the festival's 5th iteration, held at the historic Pabst Theater in downtown Milwaukee Aug 22 - Aug 24. Proceeds provide college and youth music camp scholarships, school music program grants, and instruments to students in need. The immersive art experts at FuzzPop Workshop have had a big summer. Their cosmic cornfield "Yield" made its debut at @summerfest to rave reviews, and their Deep Lake Future experience continues to wow visitors of all ages. The FuzzPop team also unleashed these "Great Cosmopods" on the shores of Lake Michigan, in partnership with Joy Engine's ArtBlaze event series. This video was made to chronicle the momentous arrival of these otherworldly beachgoers, in stylistic homage to FuzzPop's distinctive "ICOR Labs" aesthetic. You still have an opportunity to interact with the Great Cosmopods at future ArtBlaze events, which also feature live music, food, and hands-on art activities by Artists Working in Education and Arts @ Large: July 31 at South Shore Beach August 7 at South Shore Beach August 21 at Bradford Beach Amazing, collaborative, creative things are happening in Milwaukee.
