Last week, Sunrise Banks hosted the Minnesota Cup Impact Ventures Division Semifinalist Showcase, along with Impact Hub Minneapolis - St. Paul. The audience heard from ten teams of entrepreneurs as they presented their social impact-focused business pitches. Their goal is to secure additional capital to grow their startups and expand the impact they hope to have on their communities. Finalists will go on to compete in the Minnesota Cup Grand Finale Showcase in September at the University of Minnesota. MN Cup has grown into the largest statewide startup competition in the country, awarding more than $5.8 million in cash prizes while supporting more than 26,000 MN entrepreneurs who have gone on to raise more than $1.1 billion in capital.
