We’re thrilled to announce that multidisciplinary artist and creator D'ana Nunez, known as COVL, has completed a vibrant new mural The Maker's Guild at Industry City. We first met D'ana this past spring when we hosted a group of talented content creators and artists for a tour of the IC campus and an outing to the Bad Bunny concert at Barclays Center. Titled Bubble Takeover, COVL’s mural draws inspiration from her love for Adventure Time and the admiration she feels for the Industry City community. The playful and dynamic piece "celebrates individuality" and "showcases a child-like spirit." The mural, located in a freight elevator in Building 5, is a perfect photo backdrop for visitors to IC. D'ana describes her work as pushing the boundaries of normalcy and expectations, all while highlighting the joy of living a boundless, authentic, creative life.
