The FDA has approved Mindstate Design Labs to initiate human trials for their psychedelic compound, MSD-001 or “moxy.” This compound, described by CEO Dillan DiNardo as the "tofu of psychedelics," offers a milder effect compared to traditional psychedelics, allowing for tailored experiences when combined with other therapeutics. The Phase 1 trial will involve 52 participants at the Center for Human Drug Research in the Netherlands, paving the way for potential breakthroughs in treating conditions like depression and PTSD.
