A groundbreaking peer-reviewed paper by Innerworld Founder and CEO Noah Robinson, MSc was published this month in the Annual Review of Clinical Psychology, one of the highest impact journals in the field of psychology. The article highlights the fact that rates of depression are increasing despite the fact that we know how to treat it. Known as the "treatment-prevalence paradox," this problem is explored through the lens of evolutionary psychology—it turns out, perhaps depression had some adaptive features thousands of years ago. In the article, Noah, Dr. Iony Ezawa and Steve hollon propose that platforms like Innerworld could solve this paradox by providing 24/7 access to effective mental health support. The article highlights our groundbreaking new method, called Cognitive Behavioral Immersion (CBI), that introduces a truly scalable model to teach everyone the life-changing tools they need to overcome depression.
