Cow burps are a major source of methane – a #GreenhouseGas 25x more potent than carbon dioxide. IGI scientists Matthias Hess and Ermias Kebreab at University of California, Davis & Spencer Diamond, Brady Cress, Jennifer Doudna, and Jill Banfield at University of California, Berkeley are working together to edit the microbes inside the cow to reduce #methane.
