As part of our efforts to expose high school students to the many exciting facets of #biomedicalengineering and #medicaldevice manufacturing, Jeff Morgan, PMP, plant manager and Adam Crown, senior manager, operations, recently hosted Barbara Hill, Integra board member and three high school students at our Columbia, Maryland site. They were given a tour of the facility and educated on the production process for our urinary bladder matrix (UBM) technologies. The partnership between the Columbia site and high schools is one of many ways that Integra is focusing on early talent development. It is mutually beneficial to have active collaboration and introduce students to the type of work and skills needed as they prepare for college. Thank you to Barbara Hill and Jeff Morgan for your community outreach and passion to help our next generation of leaders and engineers. The students were very appreciative of this opportunity and amazed at the incredible work of our Columbia team to help restore patients’ lives. #IntegraInspired

Thank you to our Black Employees United At Integra for Leadership and Development (B.U.I.L.D) employee resource group for organizing our fourth annual Juneteenth event. It was a day filled with reflection, celebration, and community spirit. Together, we honored and celebrated the emancipation of enslaved African Americans, and helped our Integra colleagues learn more about this significant holiday. Highlights of this event included special guest speaker Reverend Jamal T. Johnson, networking with local New Jersey students, engaging community discussions, and the start of our virtual 5k run/walk to benefit the Thurgood Marshall College Fund and TRIO, Upward Bound Program Rutgers – New Brunswick. A heartfelt thank you to Reverend Johnson for his powerful speech on using our voices to create more harmony in society and to look for opportunities, both big and small to start those conversations and unite around our diversity and freedom. He also encouraged everyone to seek out ways to help those whose voices aren’t being heard. The participation and support of our Integra colleagues made a significant impact, fostering meaningful dialogue and promoting awareness about the importance of Juneteenth in our history. Let’s continue to educate, advocate, and stand together for equality and justice. #Juneteenth #IntegraCelebratesJuneteenth #TheFutureOfFreedom
